Description
Musician native of the North of France, he is directed in his beginning to the metal music and the blues then opens in the 90s on a wide musical horizon with participations and performances in different tribute groups (Tryann, Europe, Genesis, Led Zeppelin, Of K Choice and U2 for the main part).
In the same time the idea to create a music band based on originals songs continues to make its road and it is in 2001 when PROFANE is born under his impulse.
At first in a pop rock music style, the combo wins then in technique with professional’s level musicians at the rhythmic. In a vein more centred on the rock, the songs propose strong and subtle atmospheres where the relief of the structures leans on a sound more hard-hitting than in its debuts.
Always accessible and available for guest participations, he works during this period (2001-2006) on secondary projects (Magic Touch, Perfect Gentlemen and Music Tribe). Nevertheless his official group stays PROFANE (progressive pop-rock) to 2008 when the project comes to an end following several departures at the level of the line-up.
At the end of 2008, in search of revival he re-forms a new group which he wishes more radically directed to a melodic rock with many progressive accents. Yoda, his buddy drummer, met during the adventure PROFANE, follows him in this new musical episode.
Some announcements and auditions later the group is whole with the line-up first one consisted of a keyboard, a bass player, a singer, a drummer and a guitarist (Nigel) : LOOK INSIDE had been born. Finally in the term of a reversal of situation, the ex-singer of PROFANE will join LOOK INSIDE in the singing and the keyboard will leave the group because in gap of style. In power trio, it is the solid and relaxed musical base which builds up itself. Quickly a new set is finalized where each puts a lot to the full. Since then LOOK INSIDE pursues its end of road with memorable concert dates and the objective to record their first CD.
His guitar play’s printed by a personality difficult to classify, evokes brewed influences. It is often in solos in the most injured grooves which he likes breaking by fragments of the melodic phrasings supported by distortions on horseback between vintages and modern sounds.
